The post ride snack
One of the best things about riding? The post ride snack, especially if it consists of the General’s homemade guacamole, tortilla chips, and a Sam Adams Cream Stout. Trust me on this one. I tried to get a picture of the guacamole, but the lighting was bad or I’m just not good at food photography. I really couldn’t waste time trying to get the right setting for the photo; what’s the optimum window for replenishing after a ride? An hour? Reloading won. With the amount I ate vs the amount of exertion, I probably replenished and put some in reserves.
