After ride number two today, I am just shy (94 miles) of my 2008 mileage goal of 2000. In order to make sure I will be able to continue to ride outside, I purchased the Topeak Drybag panniers today. Now, no matter what New England dishes out for weather, I will be ready. I also won’t have to wrap library books in plastic bags before I head out. My new panniers are also bigger than the previous set, so I should be able to get a couple of dinners worth of groceries in there. After I bought them, I headed to the post office. The woman working behind the counter mentioned she had the same pair, and she had no complaints. I might get a chance to test them out tomorrow. The weather widget is showing rain. Yeah!
