Seven towns in two counties in two states

The goal today was to pedal up to Brattleboro, VT. No particular reason, I just thought it might provide some good scenery (check) and some hills to climb (negative). While in Brattleboro, I stopped in at Burrows Specialized Sports to see if they had any bicycle maps for the area. Rubel does a very nice one for Western Mass but I have not been able to find anything for southern Vermont and/or New Hampshire. The shop mechanic said he didn’t understand why no one put one out, there is some excellent riding up that way. He offered a couple of routes home, and once I got past the pot ravines (seriously, you could not call them pot holes!), the ride was excellent. Heather

Ride stats:

Distance: 40.2 miles
Temperature: 71.5˚ (average)
Elevation: lowest = 336.69 / highest = 620.06 (recorded @ gmaps)
Ride category: Figuring out the Brattleboro loop
