How I Know She’s Serious

I spun again on the trainer today.  I had a pretty relaxing day off and I didn’t really feel up for it.  The sun was out but the roads still icy–I thought chipping away a suitable path through the ice for my mail carrier would be enough exercise.  But Heather’s back now, and she did something that indicates I may be losing my mileage lead over her soon: she rode on the trainer.

So I climbed on and gave her another go.  The trainer and I have become old friends, and although the late winter blues have had their effect, once I get moving it still feels good.  Before long I had dance music (via Comcast) pumping and I felt like I was a the boatslip during t-dance.  And it felt good 🙂  –Karen

  1. Heather says :

Clarification: I do not track “mileage” on the trainer, just time. I will still kick your ass.
