Giving credit where credit is due

I mentioned in my last post how I changed out my old tires for the Nokian Extremes I bought myself. I cut my time almost in half from the first tire to the second. The second one was the rear tire, no less, and I was expecting a huge hassle in getting it off and back on. I have no idea when I first came across one of Sheldon Brown’s sites, but I have had him bookmarked for ages. I used this page, and was well on my way to every do-it-yourselfer’s pride and joy, dirty hands. I would hate to have to guess what my times would have been without his advice. We won’t even bring up what it would have done for the chronic Irish temper.
