About Karen
I started off enjoying a long hike through the woods, and eventually I found myself hauling a mountain bike along with me. Apparently a backpack is just not heavy enough. When we get to a part of the trail and everyone stops and looks over the edge and asks “Can we ride that?” That’s when I am summoned to the front of the line, the canary in the coal mine. My somewhat recent foray into motherhood has cliped my wings a bit, but I still like bombing down trails as fast as possible. Although I’ll forbid my son to do the same when he’s old enough to take the training wheels off. If you feel like giving me a shout, do so at sipclipandgoATgmailDOTcom.
This summer, the ladies of SCAG will be riding the LIVESTRONG CHALLENGE 2008 in Philadelphia to fight cancer. Expect lots of posts leading up to the big weekend in August. If you want to chip in to a worthwhile cause–fighting a disease that has touched everyone in some way, please click here to donate. Even a couple bucks makes a difference. Thank you for your support!
