Today the women of BCC (B7 Cycling Club) headed out for a ride. In the time it took to get back out there since our last one, Ellen stole borrowed a bike from one of her sons. See how easy it is to get them hooked? Bwaaa haaa haaaa. We rode the bike path in Turners along the canal, and I was able to get some photos of the local bird fauna. I lugged the Panasonic around in the panniers, and Ellen and Donder were nice enough to stop and let me take photos. Of course, this led them to believe that they could point out things for me to photograph. They are nothing if not helpful those two. The Mute Swan in the above photo was one of their suggestions. Yes Ellen and Donder, it was a good idea. Heather
Ride stats:
Distance: 19.2
Elevation: Sorry Donder, it’s past my bedtime. I’ll see what I can do tomorrow.
Ride category: BCC ride (We are not waiting another month to go again!)

If we didn’t tell you what to do… how would you know?
You’re welcome!

Hi Jen,
I was pretty sure the bike path from Turners to Deerfield was 4 miles, but it had been a while since the ride. I found the info here (it is 4 miles):

The link goes to the Franklin Regional Council of Governments and their bikeway project page. Hope that helps.
