I have seen a lot of signs around Northfield, MA stating “Save the Schell”. I was able to find out bits and pieces of the bridge’s history, but didn’t even know where it was located in town. I found it on my bike ride yesterday. I came across the path in the top photo, and decided to see where it would take me. That would be to the bridge in the bottom photo. Their page has a post re a benefit ride coming up May 3rd to help support the efforts to restore it for biking and hiking. It also has interesting facts about the bridge’s history and plans for its future. Heather
